Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills or staining) in one time without having to swap out devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that let them automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide gets you running in no time with an entire dust bag, water tank, and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops are spun at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a range of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly application that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you can, ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models can't. Its only minor issue is that it tends to hit objects and walls at full speed. However, just a glance at the history of cleaning in the app tells you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and the obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station has a handy LCD screen that displays the time when maintenance is required for cleaning up debris and rinsing the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank automatically by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time, with the mop capable of running for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, while the vacuum is capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to look at all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and vacuum, is the most up-to-date version. The model of this year features two agitators built into its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity that allows it to pick up smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners may miss.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by adding a dual camera which can recognize objects and determine whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It then can automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek, angular style is eye-catching and it only has three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.
The only downside I found with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these using the Roborock app which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, track the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its intelligent design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum removes dry debris, including pet hair and crumbs. It also comes with a high-quality mop that leaves floors spotlessly clean, even with a wet pad. In addition, the X40 is quiet in it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of sound when switching between modes or performing self-maintenance tasks.
The X40 has a side brush that is able to be lifted and extended. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean curved furniture like table and chair legs. The robot is also able to reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 to avoid damaging floors by repeated back-and-forth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are limited to one task, the X40 can vacuum and mop simultaneously. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, and reverse the process. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is user-friendly and easy to use, and the X40's smart features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times. They can also adjust suction power, alter modes, look at maps and floor plans, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features that make it an excellent option for busy families. The docking station can automatically cleans the dustbin and the mop pads, then refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It also can detect when the mop pad is filled and alert you before it gets overflowing, reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. It does have many characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature in its mop, utilizes two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. cheap robot vacuum cleaner is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from building up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a great way of keeping your home clean for longer.
There's a wealth of settings available which include the ability to schedule cleaning times and alter a variety of preferences. They can be set through the app, or via direct buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and provides a number of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also offers a number of functions that are not available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen in the market, sporting a white and metallic design that looks classy and sophisticated. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this listing but it's not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-built. Mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mops work well on hard floors and in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice touch.
